My husband and I just returned from Qingdao and would like our son, James to travel to China and teach instead of joining the Marines. He said, "He would love too."
James will have his TESOL certification on Feb. 7th. He will be working as a teachers assistant from Dec. 15th until he is able to go to China.
My son James does not have a resume or experience other than his private Catholic high school education and his volunteer work with, The boys and girls club of America and Healing Horses working with the disabled. He took 3 years of Latin, 4 years of English, Math and Science. Math is his favorite. In 8th grade he took the S.A.T. at the University of Utah and scored 50 points of being accepted to college.
His S.A.T. score in 11th grade was 1850.
Verbal: 660
Math: 660
Writing: 530
ACT: Composite score 26
English: 27
Math: 26
Reading: 26
Science: 25
James would like to work with children, kindergarten-6th grade. My son is a very passionate, energetic young man and wants to make a difference in his life.
He will tutor in your home, reading stories and teaching oral English or in a school.
Please help me keep him out of the Marines.
Shelly
