Hi There,

I am Italian, just moved to Qingdao with my bf after living in Shanghai for 5 years.
We are looking for an apartment right now, and we are in for some much needed advice, especially on the area where to look for it.
I like the old town, but i am not sure it would be practical to live there...
We practically do not know anybody in town, and it might sound stupid but we are a little bit scared of the impact of being suddenly friendless!!
Hopefully we'll soon make friends with some of you!!

Hi

I was just moving from shanghai to qingdao since last December, and would love to make some friends. As the same situation to you, I barely know anybody around me, except my colleages. But people here are very nice and warm. However, I'm missing Shanghai a lot. Plus it is extreamly cold in winter!
